We provide culturally relevant and practical training based on more than 30 years of global development experience. Our workshops are highly interactive with a focus on modelling development principles and Biblical worldview. We tailor content to the specific needs of the each audience and give plenty of opportunity for processing.

In order to multiply our effectiveness we have designed a course specifically for trainers. Graduates are able to set up and facilitate training workshops in their own location and region.

WORKSHOP
Typically these are between one and four weeks long, field based workshops designed to equip missionaries, churches and communities to find solutions to their own challenges. We focus on changed thinking, classroom interaction and Biblical tools that bring positive change.
Due to a very challenging illness in her family Mrs Taon ran up US$10,000 of debt in 2010. Ten years later she is debt free and in the process of building a house for her family! She was one of the early participants of the Opportunity Teams where she learnt about business skills. She started out raising a cow and a pig but in 2013 her situation had not changed very much. She made the brave decision to convert her rice fields to grow high demand vegetables. Through a lot of hard work and being willing to learn new growing methods she started to see profits rising. Even after 10 years she is looking at the current markets, urbanisation and new challenges as new opportunities and she wants to help others in the Opportunity Teams.
