MM-Suisse Project in Madagascar
Since 2004, this project has been working towards long-term transformation in Madagascar, particularly in rural areas where poverty and isolation severely limit access to essential services. Together with local communities, the team is addressing key challenges in health, education, and economic development—bringing sustainable change to thousands of people.

Key areas of focus include:
Health
Communities have established around 40 small medical posts in remote villages, providing essential healthcare where none existed before. Local health workers and committees are trained to manage these clinics independently, ensuring long-term sustainability. The team is also involved in building a hospital in Tamatave to serve the most vulnerable populations.
Education & Youth Empowerment

To help children from remote areas access education, a hostel provides accommodation during the school term. In Tamatave, youth programs offer meaningful alternatives to street life, helping young people build a better
Church and Community Development

Local church leaders are trained and equipped to mobilise their communities, addressing social and practical challenges while bringing hope and leadership at the grassroots level.

Radio Outreach
A regional radio station broadcasts health information, public announcements, and educational content to thousands of people in isolated areas who would otherwise have no access to such information..

Sustainable Agriculture (Hope Farm)
By empowering communities Hope Farm serves as both a training centre and a self-sustaining farm. By teaching modern agricultural techniques and developing value-added products, it encourages young people to build livelihoods locally instead of migrating to overcrowded cities.
This integrated approach is creating lasting, self-sustaining change across entire communities.
